The baseball jersey gets feminine, grows up and goes to town! The large raglan sleeves are cut with roomy gussets to encourage color blocking or the use of several fabrics in one blouse. Seams can be covered for more detailing. You also have the option to make a jacket with front facing or placket. There are also roomy patch pockets included. This garment is roomy and relaxed and depending on the fabric used, can go anywhere.

	Because the sleeves are large and roomy and are a raglan style with no shoulder seam, sizing adjustments are done almost exclusively in the side seams. You just move the cutting lines in or out as needed. If the raglan sleeve is too deep or long for your height, then it is shortened at the gusset seam. To do this, you redraw the angle of the armhole and sleeve. This is very easy to do and is illustrated in the pattern and makes adjusting for a small lady very easy. A raglan sleeve should end at or just above the wrist – not below it. This is also an excellent design for sizing up. Armholes are roomy and alterations simple.

	Fabrics could be anything from a cotton T-shirt knit, cotton gauze, rayons, poly blends, sheer silk, washed linen, or

medium wool. This would be a good pattern for hand woven fabric. I personally like to combine different weights of fabrics in this design. For example, soft drapey fabric under the arm and heavier fabric with less drape for the body. Think of the possibilities!
